Ruffin, a certified association executive (CAE), will facilitate at the AMC Institute’s Regional Forum meetings scheduled to take place on May 16, 2008 in Washington DC. The forum will present networking opportunities and participation in several educational sessions for association management company (AMC) owners and principals.
Ruffin, along with two other facilitators, will facilitate interactive meetings on important topics such as generational client changes, staffing, marketing strategies, and technology.
Ruffin is a member of the AMC Institute, where he served on the board for over six years and was president from 2005-2007. Ruffin was also involved in developing the Standard of Good Practices for the Association Management Industry. These standards are now used to assist professional AMCs in the establishment of their own internal quality systems.
